Lift Tables Eliminate Bending

A-Lined Handling Systems teamed with Southworth Products to supply two new floor mounted lift tables to eliminate bending and lifting for a customers inbound receiving operation.

The existing system included two infeed conveyor lines that allow pallets to flow into the processing room. Operators needed to unload the pallets by hand, bending and reaching to unload the last tier of the load.

A-Lined designed a system that allowed the two lift tables to be mounted flush with the level of the infeed conveyor, by floor mounting gravity flow rails on both sides of the lifts. Now pallets flow down the infeed line with the lifts in their lowered position. After the operator has removed the upper levels of the load, they can now raise the pallet to allow for a comfortable unload height for the lower tiers.

The room was a wash down area and the lifts per provided with a stainless steel beveled toe guard top, and a wash down duty air motor.
