A-Lined Handling Systems partnered with Steel King Industries to provide a High Density Drive-In storage system to bulk store varying size containers.

In this application the customer was looking to get as much storage capacity in his low head room building, while not giving up valuable floor space for the manufacturing process. The requirements were to store as many pallets in the small footprint available.

The system is currently being used to store raw materials in different height drums, but will also be used to store finished Gaylord’s of product in the summer months. The finished Gaylord’s tend to crush during the high humidity months, and the drive-in storage racking allows each Gaylord to be supported on its own pallet.

Drive-in racks are ideal for bulk storing raw materials or as a staging area for finished goods waiting to be shipped.
