Reaching deep into containers and lifting out parts is time consuming and poses a risk for back injury. Container Tilters are designed to improve worker productivity and safety by positioning wire baskets and other large containers so that parts are easily accessible without the need for bending, stretching, reaching or unnecessary lifting.

Portable Tilters

Portable tilters allow staged containers to be picked up, moved into position and tilted for easy access. This is accomplished by one unit, not the combination of a fork lift or pallet jack and a tilting device. Units are available in both AC or DC operation and come standard with either a footswitch or push button control. Tilters tilt the load to 85 degrees to allow optimal presentation of the parts to the operator while maintaining the load safely in the container. Portable tilters can be provided with powered drive to assist in maneuvering heavy containers over longer runs. Units are also available in a cost effective foot-operated model.

Pricing on portable container tilters ranges from $1,200 for a manual unit, $3,000 for powered tilt/manual drive units, and $8,000 for a powered tilt/powered drive unit.

Stationary Tilters

Stationary tilters are designed for installations at work stations. Units can be provided with fork pockets to allow fluid loading with pallet jacks and or fork lifts. Units can also be supplied with a solid pan that comes flush to the floor to facilitate loading any style container with any style jack or lift. Lift and Tilt mechanisms can be furnished to assist in loading or unloading oversized containers. The Z-Lift Tilter incorporates (2) pivot points, one down near the base and one up at the top of the platform. This allows an operator to precisely position the load, and alter the position as the load in the container changes.

Pricing on stationary container tilters ranges from $2,600-$4,600 for EZ Reach units (ZTU), $5,500-$7,900 for the Z-Lift Models (ZLT) and $5,500-$6,700 for Lift and Tilt Units (UTB).
