With our electrical design capabilities, Wildeck can provide you with a complete customized material lift system that is either manually controlled, controlled by your conveyor controls or is fully automated controlling both the material lift and portions of your conveyor system.

Vertical Reciprocating Conveyor's are safer than using a forklift truck or manpower to move materials between levels and are less costly to operate and maintain than elevators.

Mechanical Lift Configurations

The three mechanical lift configurations, straddle, cantilever, and 4-post, each have their advantages. You will need to determine your necessary load capacity, frequency, and loading/unloading requirements to choose which configuration best suits your project.

Straddle

The straddle configuration permits the choice of either "C" or "Z" loading/unloading patterns, providing extra flexibility to maneuver loads in the direction desired.

  • 'Standard' Mechanical Straddle (MLS): Lift Capacity up to 6,000 lbs.
  • 'High-Load' Mechanical Straddle (MLS): Lift Capacity up to 12,000 lbs.
  • Platform Sizes: Up to 12 ft. wide x 15 ft. long

Cantilever

The cantilever configuration permits the choice of loading/unloading patterns "C", "Z" or 90° load patterns, used for low overhead clearances and tall loads.

4-Post

The 4-Post Material Lift configuration allows the flexibility to load/unload on any side of the platform. Excellent for large, heavy loads.
